What a busy couple of days!

Sorry no's why:

Saturday we officially started our classes at the Free Lunch Studios. We almost filled the class! Pretty awesome.

Sunday we celebrated my wife's b-day that day so I didn't work a minute that day. S'almost like I got the present!

Monday it was back to work as usual, started the day doing some upkeep and repairs at the office. The afternoon I worked for the Y and we watched one of those drawing dvd's together for inspiration then drew our own inspired pieces. Ended the day back at the office at the Free Lunch Comics Weekly Jam Session. Good turnout of writers and artists at this one...I drew this!

Nice day at the studio AND office

Worked on a couple things at the home studio today...nuthin' too crazy, but work none the less. After lunch, went to Free Lunch Studios and worked on the breakdowns for The Blood Rider. Very fun...I sketched a buzzard chewin' on a dead cow's eye (more like pluckin' it out, ewww!). I have to design a biz card while I'm at the office too. When I get back home, I'll start coloring a cover for the Norman Katz book.

Back from S.P.A.C.E

What fun we had at the SPACE show in Ohio. We made lots of new friends and is a killer though. Steve and I decided to leave for home right from the show. A good ride but those last few hours were killers.

Our first Free Lunch Comics Weekly Jam was last night I want to thank everyone who showed up and can't wait 'til next Monday. All the attendants talked, worked and got to know each other and their creations. I worked on the interior cover inks for the next chapter of the Black Roses. (shown here) Afterward, we discussed it and we're going to extend it from 2 hours to 2.5! Super motivating!

A good day...

Beyond The Kuiper Belt is in my possession, and it looks awesome! Everybody worked so hard on this and it shows! Had a couple friends to the office today, I painted and inked for a while. The new FLC web site is coming along nicely...stay tuned.
Taught my last day at the Tootin' Hills school system was great. The kids had their mini portfolios out and they each spoke on subjects they learned about in the class to all the parents. Very nice. Good buncha kids, great finish to the class. Could not have gone any better.

Tomorrow is for my daughter and I, we might go see a movie and stuff, so if I can, I'll update tomorrow night.

Here's some art...

...from the Boston Comic Con. My buddy Hector does a comic called Hell's Blood and this dude is one of the main characters.

Here's something...

This is going to be a spot illustration for a gaming manual (that we've been workin' on for like...ever) Oh yikes...did I just type that? We'll get it done, I's too awesome to leave behind.

Just set up a blog page for Free Lunch Studios today, so be sure to check that out and I will see you later!
